You can now rent kayaks and paddle boards by the hour at The Pondside Pod (available on select days). Bookings may be made for same-day use (we do not accept water equipment rental bookings for future dates). Please note that equipment rental DOES NOT include use of the Pod or other items around the property. The washroom will not be available for use during your rental hour.
Equipment rental includes the use of one item per person. You may switch items with each other during the hour (for example, if one person books a paddle board and the other books a kayak, both people can use each item if you choose to switch during the hour). You will have to carry your equipment from the Pod to the water and return it; item weights are included with the equipment specs (link above).
COST is $20/person per hour. Minimum of 2 people required per booking; maximum of 6 people. You can choose which item you would like to use from our equipment list. Please refer to the spec sheets before booking to ensure you select an appropriate item. Life vests are included; or you may bring your own. Refer to the equipment specifications to ensure the available life vests are suitable for all participants in your group.
Must be at least 19 years of age to book the water equipment rental. Individuals must be at least 13 years of age to use the equipment. Parents should plan to use a kayak or paddle board as well, to ensure they remain close enough to communicate with children on the water. Please do not bring observers/spectators; with the exception of parents who feel comfortable waiting on shore for teenagers.
