Reservations

The Pod is reserved by the day – $175 for 12 hours use.   Price is total cost (inclusive of all fees/taxes).  Please contact us via email to inquire about availability.  

We have added a rental option for small birthday parties or celebrations.  The cost is $200 for 2.5 hours use of the outside amenities (water equipment, BBQ, fire pit, games, etc) for up to 12 people. Please refer to the Party Rental page for more information. If the details of this option appeal to you, it can be booked without a planned celebration (in other words, you don’t have to be having a party/celebration to book this rental option). 

Kayaks and paddleboards can be reserved by the hour on select days, at a cost of $20/person per hour.  Please refer to the Water Equipment Rental page for all the information about this option.

The Full Day Getaway is ideal for a couple or small family wanting a full day of relaxation, and private use of the Pod and property.  The cost is slightly lower than the shorter party/celebration rental, however, the regular cancellation policy applies (regardless of weather) and the number of guests is limited to 6 total. 

The birthday party/celebration option is perfect if you want a couple hours of outdoor activities and/or have a group of more than 6 people.  The cost is slightly more than the full day getaway, but the big advantage is having the flexibility to reschedule due to weather until the morning of your reservation date, and up to 12 people can partake in the activities.  

The water equipment rental is the lowest cost option for small groups that only want to spend an hour on the pond.  There’s no access to other amenities (e.g., games, firepit, etc).  It’s certainly a great last-minute activity, as the bookings can only be made the day of (whereas the other two options require advance booking). 

Please send us an email to inquire about the date(s) you’re interested in. We accept bookings up to 90 days in advance for the Full Day Getaway and the small birthday party / celebration rental option.  

We prefer bookings for the Pod to be made at least 2 days in advance, but may be able to accommodate a last-minute arrival if our schedule allows – so feel free to send us an email to inquire.  

Reservations for hourly water equipment rental can be made same day only (not in advance), depending on availability. 

For the Full Day Getaway, guests may arrive any time after 8:30am, and check-out by 8:30pm.  Self check-in/check-out with a keypad lock using a code programmed for the times applicable to your reservation.

For party/celebration rentals, guests may arrive 15 minutes early and stay 15 minutes after the 2 hour event time period, for setup and clean up.  We will be present at the Pod. 

Reservations may include up to 6 people for the Full Day Getaway. 

The 2.5 hour rental for birthday parties/celebrations may include up to 12 people. Refer to the party rental page for more information. 

Hourly water equipment rentals may include up to 6 people. 

For Full Day Getaway reservations, we offer a full refund (minus $10 processing fee) for cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival. Cancellations between 3-7 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund (minus $10 processing fee).  Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable. 

The birthday party / celebration rental option allows for your booking to be rescheduled due to weather until 10am the morning of your reservation day. With the weather in Newfoundland, this is certainly an advantage of this rental option. 

– Pets are not permitted. 
– No smoking of any kind. 
– No loud or large parties. Small, non-destructive celebrations are welcome. 
– We ask that any alcohol brought by guests is enjoyed responsibly. 
– We ask that the Pod, equipment and grounds are returned to the condition upon arrival (i.e., return all equipment to it’s designated location, if outside chairs or other items are moved please return them to their original location, etc).  We will collect garbage and dirty dishes if applicable.
– Accidents happen; please inform us if anything is damaged/broken during your stay so we can ensure everything is in safe and working order for the next guests.
